These white vest carrier bags have “This carrier bag is 100% degradable” written in green writing, showing your customers that you care for the environment while offering them a bag strong enough to safely transport all of their goods, making them a great alternative to conventional carrier bags.
These bags contain a plastic additive which speeds up the degradation process dramatically. Initially, the bags degrade using an oxo-degradation process which shortens the molecular chains enough to then be attacked by microbes. The microbes then break the polyethylene into CO2, water and biomass. This additive enables the bags to be degraded much faster than traditional plastic bags.
